General

With the module message captures messages can be projected to certain states

• to capture

• to archive

• to display

• to acknowledge and

• to document

A message type can each message, such as

• Operation message

• Failure or

• Risk message

be mapped to.

For each message type, a specific  display behaviour and a specific acknowledgement behavior can be projected.

Acquisition

Project planning of messages is carried out with the help of a table, in the variables and expressions in structured text can be entered.

Archiving

The archiving of all recorded messages is done in a database in so-called registration lists (database tables).

Following message lists are available:

• New list: includes all new and still not acknowledged messages.

• Old list: includes all signed messages that still did not 'go'.

• Chronicle: includes all messages (come, gone and confirmed) in chronological order.

The size of the chronicle table can be limited through

• the maximum duration of the display and

• the maximum number of entries

Display and acknowledgement

Display of message lists content takes place within visualizations and reports with the help of alarm list controls. The acknowledgement messages can be done within a visualization with a registration list control.
